New Hall Hotel & Spa
Set in 26 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens while the hotel itself is an award winning moat house built in the 12th century. There are four rooms to choose from, one of which is the Garden Room overlooking the moated topiary gardens, this is suitable for a more intimate reception whereas The Great Chamber can house up to 70 guests.  Whichever room you choose, New Hall is quite a romantic setting inside and out to hold your wedding ceremony and reception.

The Great Barr Hotel
The Great Barr Hotel is situated in the leafy suburb of Great Barr just twenty minutes from Birmingham’s City centre and it is the largest independent hotel in North Birmingham.

The friendly experienced staff can advise you on colour schemes, themes, cuisine, wine and drinks.  This hotel is an excellent venue for a modern hotel in a central location.

The Fairlawns Hotel
A modern hotel which has a choice of four rooms in which to hold your civil ceremony and reception.  At Fairlawns you can decorate the rooms to create your choice of atmosphere and the staff are happy to advise you regarding florists, table decorations, balloons, artists and entertainment.


If you prefer a celebration that is less formal, then the Fairlawns Restaurant can cater for small private parties and smaller gatherings.  If you have as few as 16 guests, there is a Private Reception and Dining Suites that may suit your needs.  The Fairlawns can offer dining for up to 100 people with rooms combined or up to 150 guests  for evening parties and less formal occasions.

Hillscourt Conference Center, Lickey Hills

Sometimes the best venue in which to get married is the one with the friendliest and most helpful staff. Speaking from personal experience, Hillscourt Conference Center has very friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome.
It is situated in the Licky Hills, a very pretty spot, and is a building of character and unlike the “run of the mill” hotel interior.

The Westmead Hotel, Hopwood

This hotel is situated near junction 2 off the M42 within easy reach of the NEC and Birmingham Airport.  The rooms are tastefully decorated with helpful staff members.  Wi fi is available in most public areas within the hotel and there is a large rear car park so this is an excellent choice to hold a good sized wedding party.

The Abbey Hotel, Redditch

This four star hotel is a splendid venue for a wedding.  It has wonderful grounds for the outside photographs on your special day.  The rooms can be open plan or divided to suit the size of your wedding guests.  There are 100 bedrooms en suit and outside an 18 hole golf course.  The Abbey is located in Redditch, South Birmingham.

Hilton Bromsgrove

The Hilton is a wonderful hotel to hold your wedding.  Friendly staff make your day easier.  The decor is very classy with a white grand piano in the foyer.  This hotel has Wi Fi access and there is a  large car park. It is situated near the M5 junction 4 which makes this hotel an ideal venue to have your guests commute to your wedding.

Highbury Hall was commissioned by and built for Joseph Chamberlain 1878 at the peak of his political career. He is acknowledged as one of the most influential politicians of his era, Birmingham’s famous parliamentarian.

Highbury has a splendid gothic library in which many key speeches of Chamberlain’s was written. The interior is an example of Victorian heritage, rich in splendour and containing luxurious furnishings. The Main Hall has a gallery in which live wedding musicians can be discreet visually though the sound of the music carries very well throughout the Main Hall especially with the flute and guitar.

Berrow Court is an ideal location to hold your civil ceremony and wedding reception, close to Birmingham’s city centre yet set in a quieter location in the ‘heart of England’. The menus are thoughtfully planned using first class quality food, organic meat and herbs from Berrow Court gardens so everything is freshly prepared with the finest ingredients. Your wedding guests can be served tasty canapés upon their arrival followed by a 3 course wedding breakfast. In the evening your guests can enjoy a splendid evening buffet.

Minworth Greaves is a timber framed medieval hall situated in the beautiful peaceful picture box Cadbury village of Bournville, made famous by George Cadbury and Cadbury’s chocolates. It is a graded listed 13th century building and built from ancient oak beams, its Tudor garden outside contains many plants and herbs which are relevant to it’s period charm.

The building and garden make an ideal unique backdrop for your wedding photographs and you can book musicians to play for your ceremony inside and out . This is a lovely quaint intimate venue to hold your civil ceremony which holds up to 40 guests, drinks can be served after the ceremony though wedding breakfasts cannot be eaten here.


Horton Grange is an Edwardian dwelling which has been carefully restored to enhance its characteristic features such as the oak panelled reception and bar to ornate ceilings and archways. The main building stands within its own peaceful and attractive private extensive landscaped gardens, both are elegant in style.

Horton Grange is an excellent venue to hold your wedding whether it be a small intimate gathering of 20 guests or for the larger celebration up to 80 guests for a sit down meal. Civil Ceremonies can be held in the oak panelled Mirror Room, The Leamington Room or The Blue Room.

There are private bar facilities in the conservatory Dining Room which is perfect for your wedding breakfast seating up to 80 people. The adjoining conservatory can seat up to 88 guests for your wedding reception and a 150 guests for the evening buffet. There is a Terrace Bar for guests who want to relax and enjoy themselves.

Horton Grange has 105 bedrooms which includes a country house bridal suite.
